About me
Born and raised in the heart of Ireland, I’m steeped in the spirit of live music, laughter and a strong cup of tea. Authenticity is my greatest grounding force, followed closely by my love of travel. True to my Leo nature, I wander the world with curiosity and pride, always returning with stories captured through my lens.
Where I’m based
Though I’ve always felt the magnetic pull of home, the wanderlust won out, for now. I’ve found a beautiful middle ground in Munich, southern Germany. It’s the perfect base to pursue my photography career while remaining a short hop from Ireland and the many European gems I continue to explore.
What i do
I’m a documentary photographer working across three main areas: portraits, places, and events, as well as developing ongoing personal projects that allow me to explore stories close to my heart. My style is grounded in authenticity, observing and capturing the beauty of real moments and the ultimate legacy of what I photograph.
I hold a BA in Photographic Media from Griffith College Dublin and while I’ve worked as a photography teacher in international schools, I now focus full-time on my own projects and freelance work. That said, I occasionally return to teaching. It’s something I’ve always valued, especially for the inspiration that young, curious minds bring.
What lights me up
Photography has been a way to fulfill my childhood craving for adventure. Beyond the camera, I find inspiration in movement and creativity whether through a yoga practice, spinning fire poi or experimenting with the slower, more tactile process of analog photography. Each of these passions brings a sense of presence and play that feeds directly back to my work.
Each encounter in my work is a chance to connect with people and places in a genuine, meaningful way.
